Six holiday motifs for your Springerle baking in a perfect eating size!
Images include: candy cane, mistletoe, a star, a bell, a tree, and a present for the baker. The Holiday Delights cookie mold is the holiday press you will use over and over again. Each cookie measures 1.625" x 2". Made in the USA from a sturdy resin/wood composite worthy of heirloom quality. The mold size is 3.375" x 6".
Baking Notes: Bake these cookies at 300 degrees F for 13 minutes - perfect! If you make the entire batch with this one cookie press, you get about 120 cookies and the rectangular shape of this cookie packs beautifully in rectangular cookie tins.
Each mold is accompanied by a 12 page booklet of Springerle and Speculaas cookie recipes. This mold is a House on the Hill replica of a vintage cookie mold.

LOVE the designs but there are 2 slight drawbacks: Unfilled spaces so watch out for air bubbles (which you can press out of the cookies - pull out tray 1/2 way through baking - use a fine needle prick to give the air an exit, & gently press down on the bubbles, return tray to oven to finish baking to finish baking). Also, my faves the holly & candy cane need more frequent clearing out in their fine details with a toothpick. Definitely worth the little extra work.
