    I used the No Fail Sugar Cookie recipe I received with my cutter but when the cookies came out of the oven they had lost most of their impression. Is there a recipe that you can recommend (both sugar and gingerbread) for using this type of cutter? Thank you.

    Owner Response: Thank you for commenting. Just a few suggestions that may or may not work for you. - Baking your cookies on a baking sheet that has been greased may make sugar cookies spread. Use a piece of parchment paper or a Silpat when you bake and it can help the cookies hold their shape. - Another trick is that after you make your dough, you'll roll it out, cut out your cookie shapes, and then put them on a lined baking sheet and only then PUT THEM IN THE FREEZER for 10 minutes, then straight into the oven after. No cooling and then rolling. You roll, cut, and then cool! -Too much flour will make your cookies dry and crumbly. Too much sugar and butter can make sugar cookies spread and lose their shape when baked. This one requires a little patience because once you roll out your dough, you are ready to bake. Be patient and bake your cookies when the dough is really cold. We have a lot of different recipes on our website that you can view and experiment with. Happy Baking!
