Unbelievably deep damask roses make a stunning presentation. Depending where you cut it, finished cookie will be 3.75" to 5" D. This makes a gorgeous cake topper in marzipan or fondant. Our 4" Round Cutter, #4200RM4, will cut this just outside the deep rounded border.

If you wish to cut this mold into a cupcake topper you will need to use our 2.75" D, #4200RM031, which will cut the design around the first outline border.

Made in the USA from a sturdy resin/wood composite worthy of heirloom quality. The actual size is 4.625" D.

Each mold is accompanied by a 12 page booklet of Springerle and Speculaas cookie recipes. This mold is a House on the Hill replica of a vintage cookie mold.

I have used the cookie press on fondant. I then cutout design and placed it on my cupcakes. I placed my cupcakes in boxes and used as wedding favors. I also placed the fondant cutouts on my cookies using corn syrup as your glue and use as favors for weddings that will impress every one. You can use the cookie press directly on your sugar cookie recipe but you must omit baking powder from recipe to keep the design from becoming distorted. You must also chill the cookie cutouts in refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before baking. This trick will keep the design from spreading and becoming distorted. I am obsessed with these cookie presses and I want to buy them all.

This makes a large cookie, but the design detail is elegant. I have used it with both a scalloped edge cutter and plain. Both are good.
