A unique vintage 1940s bridal party made of crepe paper. They stand approximately 6.25" tall. The clothes on the bride, groom and bridesmaid are made of crepe paper and their heads are made of compressed paper with hand painted faces. They all have wire legs attached to a cardboard stand. The bride has a traditional white dress with netting overlay and veil. The broom is sporting a black tux made of crepe paper. The bridesmaid has a blue underskirt made of crepe paper overlayed with netting. The bridesmaid's face has been hand painted and has embroidery floss hair that has been combed into a 1940s style. Their flowers are crepe paper and ribbons, formed to resemble sweet peas.. These very unusual pieces are in excellent condition.
