A delightful and unusual vintage 1950s wedding cake topper. This fetching quartet includes the bride, her handsome groom and a small flower girl and ring bearer. These porcelain pieces have been beautifully hand painted. The bride and groom are approimately 5" tall. The bride measures approximately 3.5" at the widest point of her skirt. The bride's hand slides beautifully into the groom's arm. The groom measures 2" wide. The small flower girl and ring bearer are approximately 3.25" tall . The coloring of these pieces is exceptional. The bride has a pale pink gown with patterned lace overlay and carries a delicately carved bouquet of pale pink flowers. Her veil is elbow length. The little flower girl is wearing a contarsting pale blue dress with a beautifully crafted bouquet. The groom is wearing striped morning slacks with black tails and is carringing white gloves. This is an utterly charming bridal group. These pieces are maked Lefton and made in Japan, probably in the early 1950s.This set is in mint condition except the little flower girl has had a flower replaced in her bouquet.
