This fabulous vintage celluloid Kewpie bride and groom wedding cake topper dates from the early 1920s. The celluloid bride and groom are in excellent shape for their age. The groom has a few small dents on the head, but they are not noticeable. The bride is free of any blemishes except for an original factory blemish mark of black paint on one of her eyes. The arms of both the bride and groom are in good condition. The bride's arms actually move. These pieces are approximately 4" tall. The bride has a crepe paper under gown and a very fine netted mesh dress over the gown. Her veil is made of mesh netting. She is carrying a white paper-like flower with greenery attached to the bodice of her dress. The groom has on a black tight fitting crepe paper tuxedo with a dapper paper-like bow tie and boutonniere on his lapel.He has a Japan stamp on the bottom of his feet.
