Store in a cool, dry place. Place butterfly on your dessert just before serving. Because this is a sugar product, it will absorb moisture and cloud, so they display best on dry surfaces (fondant, royal icing). NOTE: This product is made from sugar. The butterflies are shipped with a thin coat of vegetable oil to protect the shine and prevent sticking. Sometimes the butterflies will be cloudy due to temperature fluctuations during shipping. If this occurs with your purchase, simply spray them with a very light coating of vegetable oil to instantly restore their luster.
