This vintage 1940s wedding cake topper is a beautiful period piece! The topper is marked Coast Novelty Co. and has the original gold sticker on the bottom.The happy couple measures 4.5" tall and 2.5" wide. The topper is made of chalkware and hand painted. The facial expressions are fabulous. The groom is in a traditional black tux of the era and is holding his top hat. The bride is wearing a lovely ivory gown and carries a pale pink bouquet. The base is made of thick plaster with a nicely detailed design. This piece has no scuffs or chipping on the figures. This piece is in excellent condition and approximately 60 years old.
