This fabulous vintage celluloid Kewpie bride and groom wedding cake topper dates from the early 1920s. The pair is dressed in fantastic crepe paper finery and both have their original cardboard stands. The bride has an aged white crepe paper dress with crepe paper flowers to one side. Her veil is the original netting. The groom is dressed in a wonderful crepe paper tux, complete with bow tie. He has a white "mask" around his eyes which is an original manufacturing flaw. he also has a small dent on the top left part of his head. The Bride and groom measure aprox. 4" tall They have string jointed arms but the Groom's arms are little loose . This pair has no breaks, splits or broken areas in the Celluloid. This topper is in excellent condition considering how old and delicate these two are. This topper is approximately 80 years old. Please choose carefully as toppers are non-refundable.
