Sugared Violas, essentially miniature pansies, are completely edible and add a stunning natural finish to any dessert. The violas are organically grown and dried to preserve their natural beauty. Glistening with sugar crystals these candied violas make an exquisite addition to any dessert. Even main entrees are transformed with these beautiful crystallized flowers. The flowers are shelf stable and last about 2 years. Aprox 1" to 1.5" in size. Each package of 10 violas comes in an a gorgeous assortment of colors: blue, yellow, purple, and orange, including some bi-colored flowers. Because of their small size, edible violas are great on mini cupcakes! Because these flowers are a product of nature, no two are alike and colors can vary from flower to flower. This 10-count assortment will contain a mix of different colors.

Add a sophisticated touch to wedding cakes, tortes, specialty brownies and more. The flowers taste delicious with a sweet flavor, and are a perfect culinary garnish. Store at room temperature, away from moisture and they will last for approximately 2 years. You can also place them on top of your creation in the refrigerator or freezer up to a week prior to serving.

Ordered these, since they were inexpensive and I wanted to try edible flowers. I ate 2, my daughter saw and ate 4 on her own! There was a little more sugar than I prefer, but I just "painted" some off with a brush and water. Will be ordering more
